Dive wholeheartedly into these key responsibilities

  • Act as Product Owner and Subject Matter Expert for Google Marketing Stack (including Google Marketing Platform, Google Analytics and Google Ad Manager), being used across 100+ websites/apps. 
  • Support our brands in maximizing the usage and value of the Google Marketing Stack. 
  • Assess and deploy new features across Google Marketing Stack products.
  • Lead Google Marketing Stack partner management activities, contract renewals and financials. 
  • Drive Google Marketing Stack governance and Identity & Access Management activities. 
  • Ensure legal and privacy compliance.
  • As a Product Owner Google Marketing Stack in the Digital Retail Squad, you’ll be the go-to expert managing a portfolio of Google marketing products. You’re not just any expert, you’re the go-to guru, with a deep understanding of the ins and outs of these products, and you’ll be ready to tackle any queries and share your expertise with various stakeholders. 

    Collaboration is key in your role, as you partner with digital channel owners, media specialists and analytics teams across our brands and internal teams. This will substantially broaden your horizon and deepen your impact. Together, you ensure that the Google Marketing Stack is being used effectively, and is creating value for our customers and our company. 

    In addition, you are the driving force behind Google Marketing Stack governance and Identity & Access management activities. This involves establishing processes to ensure the platform is used effectively and securely within the organization. You oversee access controls, user permissions, data privacy compliance, safeguarding the integrity of the platform.

    Furthermore, you collaborate with Googles account teams, brands, legal experts, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely renewal and execution of contracts. You also play a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of the Google Marketing Stack products, such as budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization, to drive efficient resource allocation and maximize return on investment. 

    And to keep us on the right side of the law, you’ll stay well-informed about legal and compliance updates in the global marketing and analytics domains. This knowledge will empower us to adapt our strategies and practices to stay compliant and at the forefront of industry standards.

    The position is highly impactful, as the Google Marketing Stack is being used by all of our brands, to create an exceptional customer experiences and increase revenue.

    As Product Owner Google Marketing Stack, you will work in our Global Head Office in Zaandam, in the Digital Retail Squad, which is supporting all Ahold Delhaize brands in Europe and Asia around digital topics.     We welcome caring colleagues who

  • Have a bachelors or master’s degree, preferably in marketing or a related field. 
  • Have between 5 and 9 years of experience working in large corporate and global organizations, preferably within retail, with hands-on experience working directly with the Google Marketing stack. 
  • Are Google Analytics and/or Google Marketing Platform certified or willing to obtain certification. 
  • Have a good understanding of the marketing technology ecosystem.
  • Have experience preferably working as digital analyst or digital marketer.
  • Have extensive experience in stakeholder management, including managing both vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Are able to work cross-functionally and internationally.
  • Have motivation to share expertise and thrive to be a subject matter expert.
  • Have project management skills and a structured approach to handling challenges and escalations. 
  • Have excellent English and Dutch communication skills (verbal and writing).

  • A gross annual salary of 72-90K, attractive bonuses, plus a first-rate pension plan with a personal contribution of just 4.7% and an employer contribution of 28.3%
