Your new team and
office.
 

As our new RBP Platform Architect, you'll be stepping
into a leadership role as part of the RBP leadership team. You
bring leadership in envisioning and designing products and
platforms for our engineers. You contribute directly to building a
state-of-the-art self-service eco-system of products and
automation. A mission you won’t take on solo, but with your team of
product architects. Following modern architecture principles, you
will work with users, engineers and business throughout the whole
Ahold Delhaize organization to fit your ideas into the bigger
picture. Accelerate our product teams, so they can deliver quality
customer value faster and autonomously. 

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Design and maintain the Merchandise,
    Sourcing, MDM, Finance, HR and Business
    Support strategy and architecture in
    cooperation with the architecture community (Enterprise Architects,
    Product Architects and Staff Engineers).
  • Leading the team of product
    architects for RBP.
  • Setting-up and maintaining technology
    roadmaps for RBP.
  • Ensuring privacy and security
    compliance by design.
  • Contribute to Enterprise and Global
    architecture.
  • Leading major engineering decisions
    as the knowledge leader on the latest technologies. GenAI and DevAI
    are part of your daily
    focus.
  • Interaction with the key business
    domains to ensure business/technology alignment. 
  • Establish the right guardrails for
    our teams to achieve maximum speed and
    quality.

  • An annual salary up to 157k including
    holiday allowance and a flexible bonus. Depending on your level of

The recipe for maximum
impact
 

  • University or Master's degree in
    Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics,
    Data Science or Artificial Intelligence. 
  • 8+ years of experience designing and
    implementing technology platforms and solutions. 
  • Avid technologist, who cultivates
    innovation, acts as a thought-leader, able to concisely and
    articulately present to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A deep understanding of software
    engineering (technologies, architecture and engineering principles
    and culture), and a track record of hands-on developing and
    shipping software.
  • A deep understanding of modern
    integration and cloud architecture
  • Excellent verbal and written
    communication skills.
  • Strong to design, document, present,
    communicate and lead the implementation of scalable, secure, and
    resilient platform architectures.
  • Good exposure to Agile software
    development methodologies and DevOps practices such as
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration (CI) and
    automated deployment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able
    to deal with complexity of large organizations, not afraid to speak
    up when sub-optimal choices are being made. 
  • Experience with multi-country
    architecture and delivery; appreciative and understanding of
    cultural influences in organizational and architectural
    design.
  • Has seen Tech not just from the
    perspective of architecture, but from a multitude of
    perspectives.
  • Has ability to lead through
    influence, not just
    authority.
  • Is able to carry the understanding of
    complexities across business
    layers
  • Solution oriented and results driven.
