About the Role

We are looking for a driven and analytical Logistics Sourcing Specialist (EMEA) to join our team. In this role, you will support the development of a resilient, high-quality, and cost-effective supplier network for outsourced logistics services across our refinery operations.

You will play a key role in sourcing logistics capacity, optimizing freight solutions, and driving continuous improvement and innovation across our logistics activities—directly supporting our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead logistics sourcing activities across refineries in EMEA;

Manage freight inquiries, award decisions within existing frameworks, and administration in SAP;

Act as a trusted partner to Commercial teams, delivering fast and competitive freight solutions;

Monitor supplier performance OTIF), facilitate supplier reviews, and handle escalations;

Support contract ownership for outsourced logistics services;

Deliver data-driven insights and market intelligence to support decision-making;

Contribute to supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives;

Drive innovation and efficiency in logistics operations.

What You Bring to the role

Experience & Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field;

Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain roles;

Experience in sourcing logistics services (bulk liquids and palletized goods preferred);

Strong commercial mindset and entrepreneurial drive;

Dutch and English language fluency.

Skills & Competencies

Solid knowledge of air, ocean, road, and inland waterway transport;

Strong analytical and data-driven mindset;

Highly structured, disciplined, and detail-oriented;

Excellent stakeholder management skills;

Proficiency in SAP, Excel (advanced), and Power BI;

Willingness to travel regularly across the EMEA region for supplier and customer visits (occasionally).
