Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for cultivating strong customer relationships and driving business growth? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Technical Service Manager for Bunge Food Solutions. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing customer opportunities, proactively engaging and building relationships with customers, anticipating their needs, and creating significant value for the company. 

Key Responsibilites:

  • Account Management & Relationship Building: Cultivate and manage robust technical relationships with regional key accounts, predominantly within the margarine/spreads category.
  • New Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new customer development project opportunities, expanding Bunge’s market reach and impact.
  • Project Ownership & Pipeline Management: Take ownership of and lead the execution of a customer project pipeline, with an approximate value of 5-10 million in contribution margin.
  • Needs Assessment & Solution Development: Independently analyze customer needs, translate them into tangible product offerings, and integrate these solutions into comprehensive customer account plans.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure prompt and effective communication, efficient project turnaround times, and expertly manage customer expectations to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience, with some years preferably in a customer facing role (technical service/technical sales) in a B2B Food (Ingredients) environment. Experience in (key) account management, technical sales, or business development. Experience with margarine/spreads is a pre.
  • Deep understanding of the oils & fats industry, including expertise in production processes, customer manufacturing applications, and end-use cases.
  • Proactive and relationship-focused: A self-starter with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong technical sales acumen: Possesses robust technical sales skills, effectively communicating complex information and offering tailored solutions.
