The Challenge

What does the role entail?

The Plant Controller is part of the international Finance organization and will mainly act as a sparring partner for the General Manager of the factory and the local management team.
 

Your main tasks:

Acting as an advisor and sparring partner for the factory management team and the international Finance organization.

  • Providing and optimizing periodic reports and delivering substantive analyses.
  • Setting up and facilitating the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Ultimately responsible for further developing and maintaining an effective and efficient financial factory administration.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and solving budget deviations.
  • Identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Preparing analyses for (potential) investments.
  • Advising the management team and department managers on business operations from a financial perspective.
  • Initiating improvement actions based on numerical analyses.
  • Preparing investment proposals and making post-calculations.
  • What do you bring?

    You are an enthusiastic and driven team player who wants to strengthen our Finance team. As a Plant Controller, you are both analytically and communicatively strong and can hold your own in a factory environment within a commercial organization. You can be described as flexible and resultoriented and are able to work autonomously. You have a critical eye and are always working on improving processes. Additionally, you have:

  • A completed university education.
  • At least – years of work experience in controlling within a production environment.
  • Experience acting as a sparring partner for management.
  • Experience with ERP systems (JDE/SAP).
  • Positive, driven, and a hands-on mentality.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (Dutch and English).
