We are looking for an all-roundinfrastructure engineer with knowledge of several domains: SRE,Release Engineering & Observability. You will closelycollaborate with 2 different departments to help build ourinfrastructure for our retail media platform. Retail media is hot,and we are building a platform to facilitate all the brands ofAhold in Europe with a complete retail media suite to do theirbusiness. A high traffic environment, working as a SAAS solution,in the end used by around 15 different brands. Will you helpus? 

OurEngineering Enablement Department has a purpose to accelerate ourteams worldwide. We strive to provide teams with a set of tools andservices to enable them to unlock their full potential. In short,we enable them to deliver quality customer value quickly andautonomously. The tools and services we provide are built with andfor our engineering community. In this role you would be joining acollaboration between our Engineering Enablement department and ourAd-tech cluster who is developing the retail mediaplatform.

From functional perspective you wouldbe working with Ad-tech and from technical perspective you will getguidance from our Engineering Enablement Platform (EEP).

Your newrole:

You will collaborate withdevelopment teams to design, maintain Terraform templates forprovisioning infrastructure resources and implementing deploymentpipelines and strategies for our ads-platform. Furthermore youwill:

• Implement and maintain automatedprocesses for build, test, and deployment ofapplications.

• Coordinate with systemadministrators to ensure effective backup and disaster recoveryprocedures are in place.

• Design and implementautomation workflows using Git Actions to streamline ourdevelopment processes.

• Designing andimplementing HA infrastructure on Azureplatform.

• Building and managing CI/CD pipelinesfor our applications on Azure DevOps.

•Collaborate with software developers to design and implementdatabase changes related to applicationdevelopment.

• Optimize database performance bymonitoring efficiency and recommending performanceimprovements.

• Manage, monitor, and troubleshootWindows operating systems across multipleservers.

• Stay up to date with the latest trendsand technologies in infrastructure automation, IaC, and continuousintegration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

  • At least6 years of experience in the fields of: SRE, Observability,Platform Engineer and a broad knowledge ofinfrastructure.
  • Experience with: Azure, DevOpsway of work, ARM, Bicep, Terraform, Ansible anddatabricks.
  • Experience in Cloud (Azurepreferred, but we will get you up to speed if you have AWS/Googleexperience);  
  • Know your way around withCI/CD, including monitoring applications and release engineeringautomation (fyi, we use Azure Devops and GithubActions)  
  • Experience with the DevOps wayof work: you build it, you run it!
  • Outstandingcommunication in English.
