We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our dealership. This role will be fully responsible for local HR operations, ensuring compliance with Dutch labour law, supporting store management, and building a healthy and efficient working environment.
The HR Manager will play a key role in recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, policy development, and organisational wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Management
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for sales, after-sales and administrative positions
• Coordinate interviews with store management
• Prepare offer letters and employment contracts
• Support onboarding and probation evaluation process
• Build local talent pipelines for future expansion
2. Employee Relations & Termination
• Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially
• Manage disciplinary procedures and terminations in accordance with Dutch labour law
• Coordinate with external legal advisors when required
• Ensure proper documentation and risk control
3. Payroll & Compensation
• Coordinate monthly payroll process with external payroll provider
• Ensure correct salary calculation, bonus structure, overtime and holiday allowance
• Monitor labour cost and provide HR cost reporting to management
• Support performance-based incentive schemes
4. HR Policies & Compliance
• Develop and implement HR policies and internal regulations
• Ensure compliance with Dutch employment law, CAO (if applicable), and company policies
• Maintain employee handbook and internal guidelines
• Support audits and internal reporting
- Empolyees regular training and onboarding training
5. Employee Wellbeing & Burnout Prevention
• Monitor employee engagement and workplace wellbeing
• Identify early signs of burnout or excessive workload
• Work closely with store management to improve work-life balance
• Promote a positive, performance-driven yet supportive culture
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience in the Netherlands
• Solid knowledge of Dutch labour law and employment regulations
• Experience in payroll coordination
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English (Chinese is a plus)
• Proactive, independent, and hands-on
