The department is responsible for processing millions of transactions a day on their customers’ current accounts, savings and loans. It goes without saying that high availability, performance and keeping their data safe is crucial for them. Your work would not just impact your own department.. It will impact a lot of other departments of the organization. As a DevOps engineer you will assist in building automation solutions using Azure DevOps and Ansible, to streamline the day-to-day tasks of their engineers. Besides this, you will also gain expertise in enterprise databases that manage over 18 million accounts. As a DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability of this system, making it an exciting and challenging role for those who want to make a significant impact. Functieomschrijving Building automation solutions utilizing Aure Devops and Ansible; Aligning refinements; Ensuring the stability of the system and the database; Patching, database support and environment support; Handling incidents and doing operational tasks. Functie-eisen You have a HBO or University education; You have some basic understanding and/or want to learn/invest in technologies (like Java, PSL, GTM database, connected API’s) You have a strong learning mindset, you are ready to learn new technologies and pick up new challenging responsibilities You enjoy automating and coming with solutions in new technologies You want to learn: Azure DevOps, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Tech Monitoring tools such as ELK, Prometheus & Grafana UAC scheduling or similar Scripting languages like shell script, phyton or other Infrastructure, RHEL and middleware components (like EMS, Tibco, API’s) Functional and performance testing Arbeidsvoorwaarden Possibility to work within friendly and international environment; Holiday pay 8% of grossannual salary; 25 Vacation days + 0.5 bonus day per quarter if you have remained fit and healthy (read: do not report sick); Travel allowance 21 cents / kilometer; E-learning portal with (almost) all IT training and education that you can propose; 50 euros for medical expenses (you can count gross on top of your salary).
